Teaching at Planetarium

We bring your students closer to space

Step into our universe

When students arrive at Planetarium, they step into another world. The dark exhibition spaces create a sensation of floating. The steep staircases feel like the inside of a space station. And the awe-inspiring Planetarium Dome invites them on a journey into space.

Curiosity and imagination at the center

At Planetarium, we build our learning experiences around the students’ own world, their curiosity, and their imagination.

We help put everyday life, humanity, and life on Earth into perspective — showing how we are part of a solar system in a vast and wondrous universe.

Learning across Earth and space

In the Planetarium Dome, immersive and sensory experiences are at the heart of our teaching, as we travel close to stars and planets.

In the SpaceLab, we think and work like engineers, using authentic narratives and hands-on activities that encourage playful and exploratory learning.

Science for everyone

Our teaching reflects the diverse and interdisciplinary nature of space exploration, giving all students the opportunity to participate on their own terms and helping to break down barriers around science education.

We continuously develop and refine our teaching to best support schools and institutions — and to align with current curricula and learning goals.
