When darkness falls, the night sky opens up like a giant map of the universe. But how do you find your way among the stars? Which constellations can you actually see from Denmark? And how do you get the best stargazing experience?
Secrets of the Night Sky is an introductory course for anyone who dreams of understanding and exploring the night sky. Together with Planetarium’s astrophysicist, you’ll learn how to navigate between constellations, spot planets, and uncover hidden treasures such as nebulae and galaxies – all with the naked eye.
Along the way, you’ll embark on a journey inside our unique Planetarium dome, where we can show the night sky exactly as it appears without clouds or light pollution. Here, you’ll experience the stars as you’ve never seen them before - while also enjoying an immersive, sensory journey close to distant stars and planets, as we explore the many secrets of the night sky together.
We’ll also dive into practical tips: Which equipment can help you in the dark? When during the year and the day is it best to look up? And where in Denmark can you find the darkest, clearest skies?
After this evening under the Planetarium dome, you’ll head home with new skills that will prepare you to go adventuring under the stars – whether in your back garden, on the beach, or far from the city lights.
Look forward to a unique and inspiring evening under the stars, where fascination and curiosity go hand in hand.
