When Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi rescue Queen Amidala from the invasion of Naboo, they are forced to make an emergency landing on the desert planet Tatooine. There, they meet nine-year-old Anakin Skywalker – a slave with an unusually strong connection to the Force.
Convinced that the boy has a special destiny, they help him gain his freedom and bring him with them. This marks the beginning of Anakin’s journey into the world of the Jedi Order – and a story that will shape the fate of the entire galaxy.
