Anyone can learn astronomy – and you don’t need a big telescope.
Astronomy for Kids helps you discover all the amazing things you can spot in the night sky with just your eyes.

How do you find the constellations? Why does the Moon have craters? And how can you tell the difference between stars and planets?

Inside the Planetarium dome, where the sky is always clear, we’ll learn how to observe the Moon, the planets, and some of the most iconic constellations.

Every child receives their own astronomy kit, packed with tools to become a real sky-watcher. And with help from our science presenter, you’ll learn exactly how to use it.

We’ll also uncover the stories hidden among the stars. Have you heard the tale of the enchantingly beautiful Queen Cassiopeia? And who exactly is that guy “Karl” with the wagon?

You’ll leave with your own astronomy tools, stargazing stories, and the best tips for exploring the wonders of the night sky above us.

After half an hour of Astronomy for Kids with our science presenter, we’ll screen the award-winning film Áróra – a stunning sensory journey into the origins of the northern lights.
