Guided tour in the exhibition “To Space and Back” (Coming soon)

Step into the fascinating stories of the space age in the Planetarium’s new main exhibition, Space Round Trip (Rummet T/R). On this guided tour, we’ll take you on a journey from moon dust and meteorites to future missions to Mars — and all the way back to Earth, where our understanding of space reveals new insights about ourselves.

Along the way, we’ll explore selected artifacts and installations that shed light on the history of space travel and its technological and existential significance today.
See the largest moon rock outside the USA and learn about the collaboration behind the iconic Apollo missions. Feel the thrill of international space stations and nanosatellites, and experience “The Overview Effect” — the profound sensation of seeing Earth from space and appreciating its fragility.

We’ll also focus on the big questions: Is there life elsewhere in the universe? What can we learn from meteorites older than the Earth itself? And how do nations and companies cooperate to return to the Moon — and onwards to Mars?

Space Round Trip connects the near with the far, the technological with the human — reminding us that we can only reach new heights by working together.
