Spacewalk

Join in an exclusive spacewalk behind the scenes at the Planetarium and take a journey through the history of the universe in search of the building blocks that we humans consist of.

In the award-winning exhibition Made in Space, we look at the origin of the elements that we humans consist of,  because originally they all come from the universe.

The tour offers a journey from the Big Bang to the world-famous astronomer Tycho Brahe, from the creation of the Planetarium until now – from the very least we know to the outer boundaries of the universe.

Lecture – The building blocks of life from the universe

All the building blocks of your own body were created in the universe. The hydrogen in the water in your cells comes from the Big Bang, and the iron in your blood from the core of stars.

What are we? How have all the building blocks that become human beings come into being?

We come from space – everything we consist of has a much larger cosmic history than many of us can imagine.  The building blocks that we all consist of are over 13 billion years old! To assemble a human, we need to find the building blocks from the Big Bang, the core of the stars and huge supernova explosions!
